Whether you’re a seasoned backcountry adventurer, a side country slayer, or looking to get out on your first adventure, reviewing and testing your skills of the essential equipment is pivotal to returning from an escape to the mountains.

Learning the theory and techniques for properly using an avalanche beacon, probe, and shovel
In a controlled environment, simulate single and multiple burial scenarios, learning how to efficiently and effectively locate and extract a buried victim

Remember in the event of an avalanche CPR and or first aid is almost always issued. Continuing your education into proper basic life support and advanced avalanche safety skills is a must.
